In this role you’ll make an impact by: Providing primary technical support and training to Account Managers for probiotics and be actively involved in the sales process. Providing secondary technical support for silage and silage inoculants and be actively involved in the sales process. Utilizing additional technical services resources as needed to support in the field to grow sales of probiotics, silage inoculants, and enzymes through value-added services at the customer level. Providing oversight of North American beef trials and provide detailed analysis of trial results to support Novonesis products and services. Maintaining in-depth high-level contacts with key customers and influencers, particularly veterinarians and nutritionists. Investigates customer complaints and solves routine industry problems on site. This includes, but is not limited to, new product applications, marketing efforts, new facilities, and key industry personnel. Participating in professional trade associations and committees related to the cattle industry association activities. Developing, writing, editing, and proofreading scientific documentation for marketing materials to support product promotion Developing a deep understanding of the competitive landscape for silage inoculant products and services

Requirements

  • DVM or Ph.D in health in nutrition with practical experience working with beef cattle and a minimum of five to seven years’ experience in the industry working with key accounts and stakeholders
  • Possess good negotiation and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to utilize product knowledge to determine best course of action for customers.
  • Must have technical skills to know the right questions to ask of customers.
  • Must be a self-starter with drive and initiative and work with little supervision.
  • Must have a passion for the food industry.
  • Ability to travel up to 60%. International travel to Canada and other countries as needed.
  • Must be located in one of these states: Arizona, California, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Jersey, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, or Wisconsin.
