About The Position

Serve as field technical service representative servicing assigned Oregon accounts. Develop and match stain and enamel colors; ensure quality specifications related to color, gloss, and appearance; and audit production line parameters to support the optimal performance of Coatings products. Deliver technical solutions, develop and implement new materials, and audit production line parameters to ensure optimal performance of products. Provide technical support to Coatings customers; execute knowledge transfer and product demonstrations for customers; support key phases of sales process; and proactively deliver customer service related to Coatings products. Provide full spectrum of technical service required by customers, including assessing and resolving technical issues; coordinating with Research and Development teams to optimize products; and collaborating with Finance, Quality Control, and Logistics teams to manage customer complaints and claims.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Engineering or related field of study and 4 years of experience in any combination of Technical Sales and Service related to Chemical Products.
