Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in technical support, product management, manufacturing, or similar roles.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and design-for-manufacturing principles.
  • Proven success working in cross-functional environments with Sales, Engineering, and Operations.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in manufacturing environments such as automotive, chemicals, industrial products, or packaging.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or PMP certification a plus.
  • Background in high-mix, low-volume or customer-specific product lines preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional evaluations of customer requirements, balancing expectations with internal capabilities, costs, and timelines.
  • Collaborate with Sales to interpret customer needs and develop technical proposals, quotations, and implementation plans.
  • Partner with Engineering, R&D, and Manufacturing to assess feasibility and ensure manufacturability.
  • Manage the lifecycle of customer-driven product changes from concept through production launch.
  • Serve as the internal voice of the customer to drive responsiveness and accountability.
  • Identify opportunities for product or process standardization to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitor project timelines, coordinate activities, and resolve issues to meet delivery expectations.
  • Develop performance metrics and dashboards to track solution effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage a select portfolio of accounts.
