About The Position

In this role, you will be a key commercial partner within Carrier Marine & Offshore Systems, responsible for driving profitable growth across marine HVAC and refrigeration solutions. You will work directly with customers, dealers, and internal Carrier teams to understand technical requirements, recommend the right equipment and system solutions, and deliver value throughout the full sales cycle. You will be in charge of building and maintaining long‑term customer relationships, expanding business within existing accounts, and identifying new opportunities across both traditional and emerging marine segments. From developing proposals and contracts to supporting order execution and post‑sale activities, you will play an active role in positioning Carrier as a trusted, high‑value solution provider in a fast-paced, relationship‑driven environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years experience in the HVAC industry, or Associate degree / College Degree / Technical diploma with 7+ years experience in the HVAC industry.

  • HVAC industry experience in professional sales or marketing positions of increasing responsibility. (nice to have)
  • Solid HVAC experience and knowledge of HVAC systems and design. (nice to have)

Responsibilities

  • Achieve annual sales, gross margin and market share targets for Marine finished goods/equipment/system sales.
  • Help to grow business through existing and new accounts by building solid long-term relationships, promoting Carrier’s products, attending trade shows and marketing events, etc.
  • Review customer specifications and recommend solutions; develop and execute sales proposals and contracts.
  • Assist with Developing and influencing growth strategies to target business via non-traditional channels; aggressively pursue new market segments to expand direct business.
  • Develop internal expertise to position Carrier as premier solution provider; provide product and system expertise within key vertical markets.
  • Develop long term relationships and build partnerships with the customer; provide customers with superior value and service.
  • Work with internal Carrier departments for product, control, and system solutions.
  • Manage the relationship with Marine Dealer channel; develop and influence channel growth strategies
  • Execute quotes, follow-up and close work with customers, handle post-sale submittal and order entry work, assist with project management duties, accounts receivable responsibilities.
