About The Position

We're retained exclusively to represent this well-established, world-renowned 100+ year old, global manufacturer who create custom built automated packaging, Form-Fill-Seal Systems. They are a global thought leader in the manufacture of complex bespoke rapid bag filling and palletising solutions.This role requires candidates who excel in providing a solution / technical focused sales process. The machinery is tailor made for each client and so attention to detail, attentiveness and relationship building is crucial to ensure the solution is delivered seamlessly in order to surpass client expectations.We’re searching for an ambitious and results driven Sales Manager with experience in capital equipment sales. The right candidate will have a proactive and relationship driven approach to their sales process. They will be confident leading turnkey solutions and communicating attentively with high value clients, dealing with multi-layered decision makers. Here, you will work with likeminded professionals, driving towards a common goal and expanding across North America.

Requirements

  • Capital Equipment or High-Ticket project led sales experience
  • Experience selling into the Petrochemical, Compounds, Agriculture, Fertilisers, Animal Feed or Salt industries is beneficial
  • Proven results in both new business and account management
  • Solution, relationship focused sales approach
  • Exceptional, articulate communication
  • Knowledge of capital equipment, automated products / components
  • Mechanical Engineering / Automation background is advantageous

Responsibilities

  • Strategic development and tactical execution of new business generation
  • Win major business contracts with an average order value of $2,000,000
  • Manage and develop key accounts in Houston/ Texas
  • Site surveys and liaising with clients to understand their full requirements
  • Writing business proposals, customer forecasts and negotiating with stakeholders
  • Collaborative internal communication to lead the sales process from prospect to delivery to account management
  • A home-based role that requires regular customer visits
  • Corporate Houston Office and local technical support and leadership available
