About The Position

Founded in 1972, Action Vibratory Equipment is committed to the design and manufacture of innovative material-handling solutions. We serve customers worldwide, and our equipment powers industries including sawmills, recycling, foundries, quarries, and power plants. We're seeking a full-time, on-site business development professional who excels at driving sales and building lasting relationships through exceptional communication and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate brings an aptitude and enthusiasm for technical sales and and a keen interest in industrial equipment along with the ability to deliver custom solutions for complex customer needs.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in technical sales
  • Ability to quickly develop expertise in our line of equipment and services
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Strong communication skills and customer-focused mindset
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively
  • On-site role: This is not a remote position

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with vibratory equipment or material-handling equipment
  • Marketing experience
  • Background in engineering or drafting
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills

Responsibilities

  • Identify, target, and engage prospective customers through a variety of communication channels
  • Assess customer requirements and technical machinery applications/solutions
  • Collaborate with our in-house engineering team to develop custom proposals and solutions
  • Prepare accurate price quotations and follow up professionally
  • Represent ACTION at trades shows and occasional customer site visits
