About The Position

Technical Recruiter – Engineering (Contract) Location: Denver, CO CLP Engineering (CLPE) is seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter to support hiring for specialized, hard-to-fill engineering roles, with a strong emphasis on Electrical Engineering. This contract role will partner closely with hiring managers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality talent in a fast-paced, high-touch environment. This position is a three (3) month contract. The role is remote‑eligible. Candidates located in the Denver, CO Metro are preferred and, if selected, will work in a hybrid environment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, proactive recruiter who thrives in complex searches, understands engineering talent markets, and has a proven ability to engage passive candidates and close critical roles.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience
  • Demonstrated success recruiting Electrical Engineers (required)
  • Strong experience filling hard-to-hire, niche engineering roles
  • Background recruiting within industrial sectors,such as Energy, Construction, or Engineering Consulting environments
  • Advanced sourcing expertise and comfort engaging passive candidates
  • Working knowledge of employment and EEOC compliance standards
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, and modern sourcing tools
  • You must be able to work in the US without a work visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for hard-to-hire Electrical Engineering and technical roles
  • Partner closely with engineering leaders and hiring managers to define technical requirements and sourcing strategies
  • Proactively source passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, targeted outreach, referrals, and niche talent networks
  • Build and maintain robust pipelines for Electrical Engineering and specialized technical talent
  • Conduct structured phone, video, and in-person interviews with a strong focus on technical depth and role fit
  • Provide market insights on electrical engineering talent availability, compensation trends, and candidate expectations
  • Manage interview coordination, offer development, and candidate close-out
  • Ensure all recruiting activities comply with employment laws and internal hiring policies
  • Maintain accurate documentation and activity tracking within ATS and CRM systems
