About The Position

BryceTech seeking a highly capable Technical Project Manager to lead and execute Information Technology initiatives in support of AFWERX, the innovation arm of the Department of the Air Force. This role will manage enterprise-level IT projects that enable program management, stakeholder engagement, technology transition, communications platforms, data systems, and operational infrastructure supporting AFWERX divisions (Ventures, Spark, Prime, and SpaceWERX). The Technical Project Manager will serve as the central integrator between Government leadership, program management teams, communications personnel, data analysts, and external stakeholders to ensure IT solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget — while meeting federal compliance and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Active DoW Secret Clearance or above.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience managing IT projects in a federal, DoD, or highly regulated environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent technical initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Hybrid, Waterfall).
  • Experience with enterprise collaboration platforms and IT systems integration.
  • Ability to manage scope, cost, schedule, and performance simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills suitable for senior Government audiences.
  • Ability to work autonomously within a highly dispersed organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage information technology projects from initiation through closeout.
  • Develop detailed project plans including scope, schedule, milestones, resource allocation, and cost tracking.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to support enterprise IT systems (CRM, collaboration tools, data dashboards, web platforms, event systems, etc.).
  • Align IT initiatives with AFWERX program lifecycle requirements and acquisition activities.
  • Support Government leads with strategic scheduling, portfolio tracking, and reporting.
  • Provide technical coordination for integrated program reviews and leadership briefings.
  • Support Congressional and senior leadership reporting requirements where IT systems enable data collection or reporting.
  • Identify technical and programmatic risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Contribute to and operate within the contract’s Quality Management Plan (QMP).
  • Ensure deliverables meet Performance Requirements Summary (PRS) standards.
  • Maintain documentation to support audits, reviews, and performance assessments.
  • Interface directly with the Contracting Officer (CO), COR, and designated Government representatives.
  • Facilitate technical status meetings and provide updates for inclusion in Monthly Status Reports.
  • Ensure compliance with Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), OPSEC, and applicable security requirements.
  • Track labor hours, funding, and cost performance against assigned tasks.
  • Support accurate reporting in Monthly Status Reports (MSRs).
  • Monitor project metrics and performance indicators to ensure mission alignment.
  • Support Phase-In and Phase-Out planning.
  • Develop transition documentation, operating procedures, and continuity plans.
  • Minimize operational disruption during staffing or system transitions.
