Job Description: As Technical Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for product marketing strategy and technical content execution for HPE Private cloud application solutions including Private Cloud Business Edition and Private Cloud Enterprise. Content examples include technical demos, video content, hands on lab environments, educational how to sessions on technical topics, and other core technical content. This is a hands-on, role for a senior product marketer who excels at building high-impact technical content, and driving clarity for customers and sellers across cloud operating models, cloud architectures, app development and app modernization in private and/or public cloud environments. Experience in application architectures including virtualization, and cloud native as well as HCI (hyperconverged) and DHCI (disaggregated HC) infrastructure is required. You will work closely with senior leadership, product management, sales, and go-to-market teams to bring HPE Private cloud customer experiences to life through digital demos and technical content. This role works in close partnership with product management teams, to ensure HPE Private Cloud marketing is technically accurate, aligned with product roadmaps and consistently and effectively integrated into platform narratives and sales motions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 8+ years of product marketing and or product management/engineering experience.
  • Experience with cloud operating models, cloud architectures, app development and app modernization in private and/or public cloud environments.
  • Proven track record of building compelling narratives and content that resonate with both technical and executive audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience positioning complex products in competitive, fast-moving markets.
  • Deep understanding of the current market landscape on cloud operating models and architectures, app development and modernization, and virtualization and private/hybrid cloud.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level storytelling and presentations.
  • Hands-on ability to create high-quality marketing assets specifically product demos, technical writing and presentations.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort using data to inform positioning and go-to-market decisions.
  • Creativity and intellectual curiosity to break through market noise and earn attention.
  • Strong project management, influencing, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Technical product marketing for HPE Private Cloud solutions including technical demos, whitepapers, blogs, educational how-to content, and thought leadership on app architectures, development and modernization in hybrid cloud environments.
  • Define and articulate HPE’s point of view on virtualization strategy, container and cloud operations management, hybrid cloud optimization and more.
  • Create differentiated messaging and technical content that connects HPE Private cloud offerings and strategies to real customer outcomes.
  • Develop and deliver a comprehensive content strategy, including website messaging, solution briefs, sales plays, executive presentations, demos, blogs, and thought leadership assets.
  • Partner closely with product management teams, to ensure HPE Private Cloud marketing is technically accurate, aligned with product roadmaps and consistently and effectively integrated into platform narratives and sales motions.
  • Influence industry analysts, press, and influencers through technical briefings, thought leadership, and consistent positioning, in partnership with corporate AR and PR teams.
  • Act as a subject-matter authority and trusted advisor to senior leadership on Virtualization and optimizing resource deployment and management of hybrid cloud environments, Review, edit and standardize language across documents. Including Campaigns, PR releases and press requests, 3rd party content, sales content, Digital Marketing, Geo marketing And Interpret The GTM brief when needed.
