Inside the Role The Powertrain Product Marketing Specialist serves as a key leader in developing and executing go‑to‑market strategies for Third‑Party Powertrain and Captive Axle offerings within DTNA products. This role is responsible for crafting clear communications, core messaging, dealer and internal sales materials, training content, and promotional programs that support on-highway, vocational and medium duty product success. Third‑Party powertrains are essential to the performance and market strength of Freightliner and Western Star vehicles, and this position will be at the forefront of introducing new engines and transmissions to DTNA dealers and customers. The ideal candidate embraces collaboration across the organization and understands that DTNA’s success is tied to our customer and dealer success. Successful execution of the role will require a candidate that is passionate about delivering excellent results, celebrates success and learns from failure. The candidate should be able to see the big picture, set and accomplish short- and long-term goals, establish priorities, and objectively evaluate outcomes.
