About this role: The Technical Intern will support the Equipment Standards team with golf testing and research initiatives. This internship involves hands-on technical work, data management, and collaboration with golf facilities, requiring frequent travel. The ideal intern will bring strong communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively. The ideal intern is a skilled golfer, with an interest in golf performance. Experience with golf technology is a plus.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in both independent and team settings
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in golf and technical content.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with golf launch monitors such as TrackMan, GC Quad, or similar systems is a plus
  • Highly skilled golfer with an in-depth understanding of golf performance and technology is a plus

Responsibilities

  • In partnership with Technician, conduct local and remote golf player testing, including data collection and analysis.
  • Perform TrackMan launch monitor testing with amateur golfers.
  • Support TrackMan Mega System testing at USGA Championships.
  • Maintain, organize, and ship test equipment.
  • Manage and archive test data systematically.
  • Coordinate with golf facilities for site selection and scheduling of testing sessions.
  • Utilize basic mechanical tools for equipment maintenance and testing.
