Technical Documentation Lead (Frontend Engineer)

We are seeking a Technical Documentation Lead to join our fully remote and open-source company, Supabase. As the lead, you will be responsible for building and maintaining our documentation, collaborating with various teams to ensure their products are well-documented. We believe that documentation is an integral part of our product, and we are looking for someone who can envision and create the best documentation in the world. Key criteria for this role include proficiency in Next.js/React, knowledge of Supabase products, and strong writing and editing abilities. Additionally, experience with structuring docs, product management, writing, DevRel, and community facilitation will be valuable. • Build and maintain technical documentation for Supabase
• Collaborate with various teams to help them document their products
• Ensure that documentation is concise, clear, and free of fluff
• Structure documentation to optimize search engine visibility and user experience
• Enforce documentation as a requirement for product development
• Facilitate and manage GitHub issues and PRs from the open-source community
• Write about developer tools on a daily basis
• Collaborate with team members across the company
• Have proficiency in Next.js/React for frontend development
• Possess in-depth knowledge of Supabase products and benefits
• Demonstrate strong writing and editing skills
• Understand the communication level of documentation (guides vs reference)
• Link relevant parts of the documentation together
• Have experience in product management
• Have experience in writing
• Have experience in developer relations (DevRel)
• Serve as a community facilitator
• Possess knowledge of SQL and databases
• Create visual documentation using images, videos, or gifs
