About The Position

Parsons is seeking a TECHNICAL DIRECTOR to provide vision, direction, and technology ideation for Embedded Mission Support projects within Parsons’ support to cyber operations and systems for USCYBERCOM. This individual is responsible for making key decisions that relate to continuous improvement within areas of technical operations and for the portfolio's growing innovative needs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in a technical field (cyber operations and IT).
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering or related technical discipline.
  • Intimate knowledge of USCYBERCOM and its subordinate organizations and activities.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to understand business goals and translate them into technical requirements and project plans
  • Active TS/SCI + Polygraph
  • An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Provides technical oversight to all portfolio programs and work/solutions.
  • Develops innovative solutions that directly support the portfolio business growth strategy.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and customers; build trusted relationships and gather mission-driven, user-centered requirements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with external partner organizations and internal portfolio project teams.
  • Liaises with other teams, internal and external to the portfolio, to contribute to integrated programs and strategic initiatives.
  • Leads a team in the execution of technical solutions for initiatives and projects (i.e. acts as a Solutions Architect).
  • Leads team/talent technical development, ensuring there is proper understanding/application of technologies and procedures.
  • Resolves technical obstacles that could slow down or prevent programs from delivering on program objectives.
  • Stays up to date with current trends and developments.
  • Collaborate with higher Parsons Leadership and Business Development to market and secure additional work with client.
  • Act as the Parsons Company representative with the client and selected subcontractors during the portfolio collaboration and events.
  • Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of the organization's technical infrastructure.
  • Manage budgets for technical operations, including hardware, software, and personnel costs.
  • Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and best practices for technical workflows.
  • Guide architecture and technical design decisions for internal and customer-facing products.
  • Implement modern development practices including Agile, CI/CD, DevOps, etc.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and business teams to deliver value-driven technology solutions.
