Technical Data Manager

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
- 5–8+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, advanced analytics, or AI-adjacent roles
- Demonstrated experience working with large, complex datasets, including hands-on use of SQL, relational data models, and business intelligence tools to analyze, model, and deliver insights at scale
- Working knowledge of: Big data architectures and pipelines (batch and/or streaming) Data transformation frameworks and analytics layers AI / ML concepts, feature engineering, and model consumption patterns APIs, semantic layers, or data access layers
- Proven ability to work in large-scale, enterprise data environments
- Strong analytical and critical thinking
- Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
Responsibilities
- Partner with data engineering departments and AI groups to ensure solutions are production-ready, performant, and reusable across markets
- Support teams in building and applying insights, decision intelligence, and advanced analytics capabilities
- Translate analytical and AI requirements into clear technical specifications and data assets for market-ready solutions
- Lead the technical onboarding of markets onto global data platforms and analytics patterns
- Identify and drive the decommissioning of duplicative local data pipelines, warehouses, and reporting solutions
- Balance global standardization with practical flexibility for market-specific needs
- Act as a technical thought partner to engineers, analytics practitioners, and AI teams, serving as a liaison between EDAA and market data teams
