Purpose of the role To enable data-driven strategic and operational decision making through extracting actionable insights from large datasets, performing statistical and advanced analytics to uncover trends and patterns, and presenting findings through clear visualisations and reports. Accountabilities Investigation and analysis of data issues related to quality, lineage, controls, and authoritative source identification, documenting data sources, methodologies, and quality findings with recommendations for improvement. Apply advanced analytical techniques to large datasets to uncover trends and correlations, develop validated logical data models, and translate insights into actionable business recommendations that drive operational and process improvements, leveraging machine learning/AI. Design and create interactive dashboards and visual reports using applicable tools and automate reporting processes for regular and ad-hoc stakeholder needs. Barclays Services Corp. seeks Technical Data Analyst, AVP in Whippany, NJ (multiple positions available): Enhance data delivery processes by automating reports and dashboards, such as citizenship reports, which support Barclays' annual reporting created in Salesforce and Tableau within the Public Policy and Corporate Responsibility department. Manage the small change budget for Public Policy and Corporate Responsibility to drive data-driven enhancements and user-focused improvements in existing systems through detailed analysis and optimization. Leverage machine learning techniques, JIRA and Tableau to develop dynamic dashboards such as vulnerability management and AI-powered reports to provide real-time insights for business stakeholders. Analyze data stored within databases and spearhead the decommissioning of Human Resource (SAP) systems as well as outdated Public Policy and Corporate Responsibility systems. Analyze employee feedback to identify trends and recommend improvements, leverage these insights to inform strategic decisions, enhance operational efficiency, and drive innovation, ultimately supporting organizational growth and enhancing the employee experience. Develop and implement models to automate key business processes using Python libraries (scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy) and advanced machine learning techniques (neural networks, optical character recognition, regression analytics).
