THE ROLE: We are seeking a highly technical and strategically minded Principal Engineer to serve as a trusted operational expert to the VP of AI. This unique role blends deep engineering expertise with cross-functional leadership, acting as a technical AI Chief of Staff within our AI organization. You will drive execution of high-impact education initiatives, shape technical strategy, and ensure alignment across engineering, research, and external collaborators.

Responsibilities

Partner closely with the VP of AI to define and execute technical strategy across the org.
Act as a bridge between leadership and engineering teams, translating vision into actionable plans.
Lead and coordinate cross-functional initiatives, including: Development of internal and external AI education programs
Own and manage technical OKRs, roadmaps, and program alignment across internal teams and external collaborators.
Provide operational oversight for strategic projects, ensuring timely delivery and technical excellence.
Represent the AI org in cross-org forums, driving clarity and collaboration.
