David Energy is creating a new kind of power company. Traditional Retail Electricity Providers (REPs) are outdated, opaque, and painful for customers to engage with. We use software to monitor our customers' real-time energy usage, and we aggregate and analyze that data to maximize the value they get from their energy assets – batteries, EVs, HVAC systems and other distributed energy resources (DERs) via participation in energy markets. Our mission is to run the grid on clean energy 24/7. We are hiring a Chief of Staff to work directly with the CEO to develop and operationalize our company strategy as we scale. This role is the CEO’s closest partner in turning complex, often ambiguous strategic ideas into clear, measurable outcomes and execution plans the company can run on, then driving the work across the leadership team. This role will directly shape how David Energy thinks, decides, and executes. This person is expected to be a scientific thinker and an exceptional writer. We are a documents and metrics-based culture in order to drive intellectual and analytical rigor in the decisions and plans we make.
