About The Position

The Technical Account Manager serves as the technical bridge between customers and Maco Bag Corporation's internal teams, combining technical expertise and customer-facing communication. This role supports sales growth by providing customers with accurate product specifications, packaging options, and application solutions, while ensuring timely responses and seamless alignment with Maco Bag's manufacturing capabilities, particularly during product launches.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Packaging, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3-5 years' experience in technical sales, customer support, or engineering in a manufacturing environment (packaging preferred).
  • Strong technical knowledge of packaging or manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent communication skills —verbal, written, and interpersonal.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

  • SAP and ISO experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to customers on product specs, packaging formats, and capabilities.
  • Translate customer requirements into manufacturable solutions, ensuring regulatory and quality compliance.
  • Lead new product introductions by coordinating sample requests, approvals, and initial production planning through the New Product Introduction process.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Quality to address customer questions or issues.
  • Analyze customer feedback and contribute to root cause investigations and process improvements.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for enhancing processes and customer interactions, recommending and implementing improvements to increase efficiency, reduce errors, and elevate overall customer satisfaction.
