Job Title Technical Account Manager About your role: You will serve as the primary technical advocate for assigned enterprise clients, partnering with account teams, product, and support to ensure successful implementation and adoption of Fiserv solutions. You will diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, drive integrations and application programming interfaces (APIs), and provide guidance that reduces risk and maximizes value. This role ensures long-term client satisfaction and retention through technical excellence.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in technical account management, solutions engineering, or client-facing technical roles supporting enterprise software platforms.
  • 4+ years of experience implementing and troubleshooting integrations and application programming interfaces (APIs) in cloud-based or on-premises environments using REST, SOAP, or webhook patterns.
  • 3+ years of experience in payments, merchant services, banking, or financial services technology or supporting regulated enterprise environments.
  • 3+ years of experience with SQL, Linux command line, network diagnostics, and logging or observability tools such as Splunk, ELK, or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience.
  • You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role. Individuals with temporary visas including, but not limited to, F-1 (OPT, CPT, STEM), H-1B, H-2, or TN, or any candidate requiring sponsorship, now or in the future, will not be considered for this role.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with payment processing platforms, merchant acquiring flows, or Clover from Fiserv.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, observability platforms, or scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
  • Relevant certifications (for example, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified ScrumMaster, Certified Information Systems Security Professional) preferred or equivalent professional training.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary technical contact for assigned clients, owning incident resolution, technical escalations, and ongoing issue triage.
  • Lead technical onboarding and implementation activities, including integration planning, API configuration, testing, and production cutover.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues across client environments using logging, diagnostics, and root cause analysis to implement permanent fixes.
  • Proactively identify technical risks and opportunities, recommend configuration or roadmap changes, and coordinate with product and engineering to drive defect resolution and feature requests.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles to enable self-service and reduce time to resolution.
  • Deliver technical enablement and training to client teams and internal stakeholders to increase adoption and reduce escalations.
