Every class you teach and every question you answer helps remove barriers and creates new opportunities for those we serve. General Description of Duties: Responsible for training Diverse IT clientele on basic technology skills Provide over-the-phone and in-person instruction Answer questions and track trainings in CRM system (Salesforce) Respond to calls, voice messages, and in-person visits Track requests for computers, training classes, and computer repairs Conduct training for members of the public, students, and on-the-job trainees Train small groups or individuals one-on-one, in person or online Cover topics such as computer operation, avoiding scams, social media usage, computer assembly, etc. Assist in refurbishing computers, loading software, and preparing systems for donation Set up appointments with recipients and provide basic orientation on computer usage Handle donations of IT equipment including fielding calls and emails, picking up donations, sorting and organizing materials
