About The Position

The Tech Support Specialist position is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing key programmer and key cutter calls as well as cutting keys onside for the ordering department.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service over the phone
  • Proficient in computer software systems including MS Office and MS Excel
  • Working knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) system
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in automotive and/or locksmithing
  • Strong phone presence and desire to engage customers through inbound and outbound calls
  • Strong technical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair key cutting and programming machines.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to customers.
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple issues simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific machines and tools is a plus.
  • A proactive and customer-focused attitude with a strong problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support through both incoming and outgoing calls to our retail locations
  • Support our wholesale customers with programming and key cutter issues
  • Cut keys onsite
  • Provide onsite support for key programming and cutting
