Business Insider is seeking a full-time tech reporter to cover artificial intelligence AI is reshaping everything, and BI is looking for an aggressive, creative reporter who can break news, land scoops, and write with authority about the people, businesses, and money driving the AI revolution. From the companies and startups building the technology, the investors backing it, and the businesses racing to adopt it, this reporter should be driven to give our audience exclusive news on the inner workings of the AI ecosystem. We’re looking for someone who is excited to cover leading AI companies like OpenAI and Anthropic, and fast-growing AI startups and emerging companies building AI infrastructure, chips, and applications. You’ll uncover where the money is flowing across tech, explain how AI technology is being used across various industries, and deliver original, deeply reported stories that clarify where the sector is headed. This is a position for a journalist who is confident in their ability to produce groundbreaking stories. Access to inside sources within the AI industry is a must, along with the ability to obtain or review internal documents.
