About The Position
Job Description Successful candidate will be studying Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Reports to Technology Manager Will work as part of the technology / IT System engineer support team. Systems and Workflow: Understand technologies associated with content discovery, production, and delivery. An opportunity to shadow all areas of news and operations. Will be assigned a project as part of the internship Will gain experience with user and critical systems support in a 24/7 News environment Will learn how to problem solve. Meets deadlines. Will learn ins and outs of the daily workings of a broadcast content center.
Requirements
- You must be in pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor, or Graduate degree at an accredited institution.
- Current class standing of sophomore or above
- Must be 18 years or greater
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in United States.
- Must be willing to work in Philadelphia, PA
- Professionalism: relationship-building and professional presence. Shows up to work on time, no excessive absences. Learns how to problem solve with maturity. Handles issues with appropriate urgency. Meets deadlines. Learns ins and outs of the daily workings of a broadcast content center.
