Requirements

Must have a minimum of 12 semester hours in core degree course work
Individual should be a rising sophomore (at least) when internship begins
Must be available for 10-12 weeks during Summer 2026
Work related travel may be required, individuals must be able to travel without any restrictions, including internationally
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship now or at any point in the future

Responsibilities

Provide analytical insights to create and drive United’s line maintenance footprint strategy
Research elements of TechOps reliability, productivity, and efficiency to identify areas of opportunity for refinement and improvement of the global line maintenance strategy
Collaborate with cross-functional TechOps and airline teams to implement strategic direction of the maintenance footprint
Support strategic execution of TechOps systemwide infrastructure projects
