Essential Functions: Oversee all Team Relations activities, ensuring workplace concerns are handled timely, consistently, and in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. Champion a positive Team Member experience that drives engagement, satisfaction, and retention across the organization. Serve as a subject matter expert and resource on employee relations matters, including Title VII, FMLA, ADA, NLRA, investigations, and policy interpretation. Lead and conduct investigations related to misconduct, performance concerns, policy violations, workplace conflicts, and hotline reports. Collaborate with team members and leaders to address complaints, resolve conflicts, and promote fair and consistent treatment. Provide guidance and coaching to leaders on performance management, corrective action, conflict resolution, and effective communication strategies Develop and maintain team policies, procedures, and best practices Support leaders in developing performance improvement plans and long-term team member development strategies. Act as the primary liaison between union representatives and property leadership, ensuring effective communication and relationship management. Oversee all aspects of labor relations, including union notifications, collective bargaining support, grievance management, and related reporting. Partner with HR leadership on workforce planning, organizational development, and change management initiatives. Provide project management support for HR initiatives and cross-functional efforts. Actively participate in team projects and committees by offering input, ideas, and solutions that contribute to continuous improvement. Serve as a role model by demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and behaviors consistent with JACK values, encouraging others to do the same Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong leadership, analytical, interpersonal, problem solving and decision-making skills. Proven ability to manage sensitive and complex employee relations issues with sound judgment and discretion. Strong working knowledge of employment and labor laws, including Title VII, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and NLRA. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and advise leaders at all levels. Strong conflict resolution, investigation, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality. Requires the ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the workday. Must be able to move throughout property locations to meet with Team Members, leaders, union representatives, and external partners. Requires the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
