About The Position

This Full Time Team Member position at NM Alameda is accountable for key performance indicators related to vehicle preparation and loading safety, as well as the completion of daily operational tasks. The role involves direct interaction with guests, operating and maintaining car wash equipment, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and contributing to the overall cleanliness and efficiency of the car wash facility. The position also includes training new team members and managing membership services.

Requirements

  • Knowledgeable on property safety and layouts
  • Knowledgeable of what not to wash
  • Knowledgeable of tunnel equipment
  • Ability to safely guide and load each vehicle per size
  • Ability to use bug prep gun to properly prepare vehicles for wash process
  • Ability to remove mud in wheel wells when appropriate
  • Ability to perform safety inspection of vehicles before wash
  • Ability to make key adjustments to car wash equipment
  • Knowledgeable on E-Stop Locations
  • Ability to handle tunnel incidents effectively and safely
  • Responsibility for vacuum service process
  • Ability to participate in the nightly close down checklist
  • Ability to engage with each guest using the 4 Steps of Service
  • Knowledgeable on 3 Single Wash packages
  • Ability to inform all retail guests about Memberships
  • Ability to present our Difference
  • Ability to train new Team Members on approved training modules
  • Ability to aid in member visit success rate (License Plate Recognition/RFID sticker reads)
  • Ability to communicate key vehicle information and equipment retracts to crew
  • Ability to observe vacuum area for guest satisfaction
  • Knowledgeable on membership management
  • Fluency in the LEAP Conflict Resolution process
  • Ability to complete daily shift report to document shift performance
  • Ability to maintain a clean, organized car wash facility
  • Ability to learn how to safely open and close the car wash with leadership
  • Ability to safely use ladders and engage e-stop while cleaning
  • Ability to learn backroom safety and equipment knowledge
  • Ability to adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety standards and codes of conduct
  • Ability to follow Champion safety procedures to avoid exposure to fumes, dirt, and harsh chemicals
  • Ability to assist in cleaning the facility (equipment, walls, trench, vacuums, trashcans, and lot)
  • Willingness to work in all weather conditions (cold, hot, wet, rain, snow)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to be on your feet 100% of the day and outside
  • Ability to attend all mandatory training sessions
  • Ability to attend all mandatory team meetings and cleaning
  • Ability to perform landscaping, weed control and lot maintenance
