About The Position

The Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the team, including coordinating with airlines, freight forwarders, and other service providers. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as a deep understanding of air freight logistics and regulations.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is required
• At least 5 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field is required
• Prior experience in s and supervisory experience is highly desirable
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Fluency in English is required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with logistics software and systems is required

Nice To Haves

• Experience with leading air cargo logistics software and systems
• Familiarity with air freight regulations, customs requirements, and export controls
• Knowledge of airline routes and schedules
• Knowledge of additional languages is a plus

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the team, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of cargo
• Coordinate with airlines, freight forwarders, and other service providers to ensure smooth and timely delivery of cargo
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, including customs regulations and trade laws
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and quality of service delivery
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce costs, improve service quality, and enhance customer satisfaction
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators, such as cargo delivery times, costs, and quality
