About The Position

Aspirus Health in Wausau, WI is seeking a TEAM LEAD REGISTERED NURSE to join our Contact Center team! The Team Lead - RN utilizes the nursing process when assisting with the delivery of primary health care and patient care management in the clinic setting. The Triage Nurse - RN performs a wide variety of patient care activities including documentation within the medical record. The Triage Nurse - RN utilizes nursing skills when assessing and triaging patients and recommending follow-up care. The position requires the ability to make decisions consistent with nursing practice, clinical policies and observance of confidentiality of patient information. In the absence of, and in support of onsite leadership, the Team Lead Registered Nurse assumes an active role in providing guidance and assistance with operations of regional sites and services. In collaboration with the formal leadership team, the Team Lead Registered Nurse is a liaison for overseeing the functioning of the Contact Center ensuring appropriate resources to provide safe, high quality patient care. HOURS: Full Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every pay period. Day/Evening rotation. This position will be fully remote after an onsite training period.

Requirements

Associate degree in nursing required.
A minimum of three years' experience as a practicing RN of which one year has been a leadership role or relevant experience preferred.
Possesses an active Wisconsin and/or Michigan RN nursing license.
Current CPR certification, or within 90 days of hire.
All clinical personnel in identified job codes are required to maintain cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training through independent study, manikin, and knowledge testing. An acceptable CPR training program is the Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider course from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross Professional Rescuer Program with AED.
