Carnegie Mellon University’s Dietrich College is searching for a Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in an interesting and challenging work environment. You will contribute to the department by providing support by serving as a Teaching Assistant for four undergraduate courses (or the equivalent) each semester, spending approximately nine hours per week assisting with each class. During the semester breaks when no departmental courses are in session, the staff person will be assigned to departmental projects which may include assisting with faculty research projects. This is a 12-month staff position with the option to convert to a 10-month staff position (August – May) if desired. TAs 4 courses per semester (approximately 9-10 hrs/week/course and a total of 37.5 hours per week). This role will begin no later than August 1, 2026, with the option to start as early as June or July if preferred.
