About The Position

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant Substitute who will work on a day-to-day basis and is scheduled as the need arises to cover days normally worked by another teaching assistant. Anderson students are in school between 8:30 and 2:30, so hours are 8:00-3:00pm. Requirements

High school diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

Prior experience working with students with disabilities preferred
Training or coursework in special education preferred

Responsibilities

Assist our special education teachers and school therapists with implementation of IEP goals and objectives.
Help with classroom activities and maintaining a clean and neat classroom environment.
Support the physical and minimal health needs of our students which may include lifting, positioning, seating, feeding, toileting/diapering, and mobility.
