A Teacher is responsible for helping maintain a safe and healthy learning environment, to promote the positive development of all children. This role involves assisting Lead Teachers in planning, directing, or coordinating academic and nonacademic activities for children in their care, and helping to teach and carry out learning objectives for all ages and/or classrooms. The position also includes greeting parents and children during drop-off and pick-up times and assisting with various daily tasks such as diapering/potty training, laundry, cleaning tables, chairs, diapering areas before and after each use, and toys at naptime and/or the end of each day. The teacher must also ensure compliance with state-mandated child/staff ratios and all other state, federal, and Accreditation regulations. The department is looking for dynamic teachers passionate about helping children aged 6 weeks through 12 years reach their milestone goals and full potential, and who enjoy working with a team that fosters continual Early Childhood growth and learning.
