About The Position
POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the district ESL coordinator and campus principal(s), direct the learning activities and ancillary services of grade, subject, or other school assignments. POSITION REQUIREMENTS : Education: BA/BS Experience: ESL teaching experience preferred; Bilingual preferred Licenses/Other: Appropriate ESL Texas Certification ILLUSTRATIVE DUTIES: Provide instruction and support to ELL students (campus(es) to be determined) Hold all LPAC meetings (Initial, State Assessment, and End of Year) Complete Identification Assessment on all newly enrolled students and as needed on other students Coordinate and administer all parts of TELPAS (Texas English Language Proficiency Assessment System) responsibilities Administer state testing for ELL students as needed Oversee monitoring of all reclassified students Provide classroom support to teachers of ELL students Communicate with ELL parents regularly Works cooperatively with faculty, staff and administration Other duties as assigned 2026-27 School Year
Requirements
- BA/BS
- Appropriate ESL Texas Certification
