Wayne State College Teacher Education Internship candidates will work with early childhood or school age students with behavioral, developmental, and neurotypical needs by providing academic and behavioral support in the classroom at our Northwest (88th & Blondo) or Southwest Centers (138th & Q). CRCC has a summer only opening for WSC Teacher Education Students to work as classroom staff at our Northwest Center (88th & Blondo) or our Southwest Center (138th & Q). Hours are To Be Determined (TBD). The intern must be able to complete new hire orientation by Friday, May 22nd, 2026. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be currently enrolled in the College of Education at Wayne State College. Candidates with previous teaching or aide experience in an educational environment involving students with disabilities, or related training and experience is preferred but not required.
