We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Toddler Lead Teacher to lead a classroom and help cultivate a positive, engaging, and nurturing learning environment. In this role, you will guide both children and your teaching team, ensuring a classroom culture that supports exploration, growth, and strong foundational development. Requirements

  • CDA required with a high school diploma, or higher degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of professional childcare experience.
  • Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication skills with both children and adults.
  • Ability to foster a positive, collaborative team environment.
  • CPR and First Aid certification required (or willingness to obtain).
  • Must pass fingerprinting and background check and meet Georgia state licensing requirements.

  • Familiarity with Jewish culture and values is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a toddler classroom, creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.
  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based curriculum aligned with early learning standards.
  • Foster children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
  • Supervise and support assistant teachers and classroom staff, providing guidance and mentorship.
  • Maintain clear, consistent communication with families through daily updates and conversations.
  • Ensure compliance with all school policies, licensing requirements, and health and safety standards.
  • Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and accurate records.
  • Collaborate with school leadership and staff to support a positive and cohesive school culture.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and continuous improvement efforts.
