We are seeking a passionate and flexible Teacher to join our school community. In this role, you will work within a collaborative teaching team to support either toddler or preschool classrooms, helping to create engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences. Requirements
- EEC Teacher or Lead Teacher certification required.
- Strong understanding of child development and play-based learning.
- Collaborative, flexible, and team-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to learn, grow, and contribute to a positive teaching culture.
Nice To Haves
- Education in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- Previous experience working in early childhood settings preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning.
- Collaborate with teaching team members to plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum.
- Create and maintain a safe, engaging, and well-organized classroom environment.
- Participate in weekly team planning time and monthly staff meetings.
- Communicate regularly with families through Brightwheel, including daily updates, blogs, and photos.
- Contribute to student progress reports, portfolios, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Participate in school events, including parent meetings and community gatherings.
