- Assists the teacher in providing a developmentally appropriate program for all of the children.
- Assists in creating an environment that supports children's growth and development.
- Develops and maintains a positive relationship with all of the children and their families.
- Effectively guides children's behavior in an age appropriate and positive manner.
- Constructively participates in staff meetings and meetings with supervisor.
- Meets the physical, social, cognitive, emotional and cultural needs of individual children.
- Attends 15 hours of training every year.
- Communicates appropriately with families regarding childrens daily activities both verbally and written as needed.
- Ensures the safety of the children and promotes good health habits.
