About The Position
This Teacher Aide position in Child Care, within the Healthy Moms Department, involves assisting a teacher in providing a developmentally appropriate program for children. Key responsibilities include creating an environment that supports children's growth and development, fostering positive relationships with children and their families, and effectively guiding children's behavior in an age-appropriate manner. The role also requires meeting the physical, social, cognitive, emotional, and cultural needs of individual children, ensuring their safety, and promoting good health habits. The aide will participate in staff meetings, meetings with a supervisor, and attend 15 hours of training annually, while also communicating with families regarding children's daily activities.
