About The Position

The Tax Intern prepares or reviews a variety of tax returns and supporting documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable guidelines and regulations. In addition to tax support, this role will also support our sale tax audit function. Safelite is known as an auto glass company, but aims to help employees build fulfilling careers and encourages a balanced life.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Understanding of tax compliance process and account reconciliation concepts
• Knowledge of corporate tax concepts
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, comfortable working with large amount of data

Responsibilities

• Prepare state and local income tax filings and supporting work papers
• Assist with sales tax audit support and preparation
• Support unclaimed property due diligence review process
• Support tax accounting reconciliation by analyzing large amount of data and verifying activities
• Other duties assigned by management
• Performs other duties as assigned
