To learn more: www.sony.com/en. POSITION SUMMARY We have an exciting internship opportunity in our New York City Global Tax Department. This is an ongoing internship; it will begin immediately and continue throughout the year. We are looking for a commitment of at least 24 hours per week throughout the semester and full time during the Summer. This is an in-person internship at our 25 Madison office in New York City with a commitment of over one year.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in a college or University.
• Undergraduate Accounting majors preferred.
• Students entering their sophomore or junior year of college highly preferred.
• Excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Self-starter.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to handle many priorities/functions.
• Flexible hours, preferably a minimum of 24 hours per week.
• All candidates must be authorized to work in the USA.

Responsibilities

• Prepare various tax returns and supporting schedules (sales & use tax, B&O, resale certificates, exemption certificates).
• Assist with information gathering and work paper organization.
• Assist in implementing new technology for data analysis, data gathering and reporting.
• Perform other tax compliance and administrative duties as assigned by management.
