About The Position

CAPTRUST is offering a paid Spring Tax Intern in our Phoenix, AZ office that provides hands-on exposure to the inner workings of a leading wealth management firm with a robust tax practice. From day one, you will gain real world experience in a fast paced, collaborative environment using the most up-to-date office and taxation technology. As a CAPTRUST intern, you will learn from industry experts about tax planning and compliance, client service, meeting preparation, and special projects. This internship is designed to give you practical skills that set you apart in the job market. Completion of the program may lead to future full-time opportunities (though not guaranteed). Requirements

  • Actively pursuing undergraduate or graduate degree
  • Business majors with a focus on accounting and taxation preferred
  • Strong interest in individual taxation and wealth management

Responsibilities

  • Assist with tax planning and preparation
  • Support client meetings and meeting preparation
  • Participate in cash flow, estate, and business succession planning
  • Support the client services and administrative teams as needed/requested
  • Contribute to internal and client-specific projects
  • Attend client meetings in a support role
