Product Tax is currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill a Tax Analyst vacancy, supporting Prudential’s retail and institutional businesses and Corporate Centers. The position requires a team player who is highly organized, adaptable, and flexible, with the ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously to achieve sustainable results. The current EWA for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a weekly basis. Your manager will provide additional details relating to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site. This position is for our Newark, NJ and/or Fort Washington, PA office. What you can expect: The Tax Analyst will provide tax guidance to Prudential’s Product areas, which include Individual Life Insurance, Group Insurance, Retirement Strategies, Asset Management, as well as the Corporate Centers (including Benefits, Compensation and Payroll). Main Responsibilities: Communicating IRS requirements to business partners, Assisting with implementation of new IRS guidance Ensuring products and services comply with all tax rules. Serve as a liaison between Corporate Tax and the applicable Business Group(s) and support business activity to ensure compliance with the tax rules. This is a high visibility position that requires individuals who can collaborate optimally with all levels of management. The position provides excellent opportunities for growth and development. Applicants are not required to have product tax knowledge when applying for this position. However, the successful candidate must have a willingness to expand technical tax skills, as well as the flexibility to move from supporting one Business Group to another. Technical and operational knowledge of the tax rules related to insurance and financial management products, including federal, state and local tax information reporting and withholding rules is helpful. Requirements
