This is a 6-month (July 6th-December 18th, 2026) paid co-op experience out of our Boston, MA headquarters. As a Tax Analyst Co-op, you’ll join our Corporate Tax team and gain hands-on experience across all tax-related projects. This includes exposure to both US and international tax questions and challenges (i.e. income tax, indirect tax (sales and use), as well as international tax planning, transfer pricing, and OECD pillar 2.) This role is fundamental to ensuring Klaviyo's tax operations run smoothly and efficiently. You'll directly impact the team by assisting with foreign tax return provision and filings, observing day-to-day operations and emerging tax issues.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, with an anticipated graduation date between May 2027 and May 2028
  • Have a foundational understanding of tax accounting
  • Are proficient in Excel and Google Suite
  • Demonstrate strong critical thinking skills with the ability to connect the dots and understand the broader impact of your work
  • A dependable and accountable individual. Meticulous and precise, with a commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate work.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Nice To Haves

  • Are interested in or have demonstrated experience with AI-fluency and automation
  • Have experience with systems like Python, Tableau, SQL, or PowerBI

Responsibilities

  • Help prepare the foreign entity provisions under U.S. GAAP for year-end and during the quarters and Local Statutory Filings
  • Help with foreign tax return filings, gaining insight into international tax compliance
  • Prepare provision to return workpapers to explain the differences between the provision to return
  • Observe and learn from the tax team's daily operations and the unique challenges they encounter
