About The Position

We are searching for a Program Operations Task Lead to support the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The person in this role will lead program delivery tasks which includes providing on-time quality deliverables that meet SOW objectives and providing a high level of customer service. This role requires strong technical, leadership, and communication expertise, particularly in federal agency or organizational environments. This is an on-site, full-time position in Bethesda, MD

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • At least FIVE (5) years of technical experience, including at least TWO (2) years as a Task Lead on comparable projects.
  • Must show sufficient technical understanding of linkage production activities to manage the team and perform other key responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated experience successfully leading technically focused teams.
  • Shall possess a sufficient background to oversee stakeholder management, data governance, technical assistance and program dissemination.
  • Must possess a current professional certification relevant to program operations duties, such as a Project Management Professional (PMP), Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) certification, or similar.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.

  • Previous experience with the NIH or other government entity (Federal or State) would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage technical projects or programs associated with data linkage production activities of significant size and complexity associated with data linkage production activities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and oversee stakeholder management activities, ensuring clear communication and alignment of objectives.
  • Maintain data integrity, security, and compliance.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members and stakeholders.
  • Disseminate program efforts to identified stakeholders, ensuring timely and effective delivery of essential program information.
  • Communicate clearly and succinctly in both verbal and written formats, maintaining professionalism in all interactions.
  • May oversee multiple program managers and/or project managers.
