Chick-fil-A Colonial Plaza is seeking a Talent & Training Director to lead our hiring, onboarding, and team development efforts. In this role, you will play a crucial part in building a high-performing team that embodies our core values and commitment to excellence. Position Overview As the Talent & Training Director at Chick-fil-A Colonial Plaza, you will serve as a key member of our leadership team, working closely with the Director Team and Executive Director Team to attract, train, develop, and retain top-tier talent. Your leadership will ensure our team members are well-trained, engaged, and developed into future leaders. Together, we will create a culture of excellence that aligns with Chick-fil-A Colonial Plaza's vision, mission, and values.

Requirements

  • Must have previous Chick-fil-A experience.
  • A proven leader with 2+ years of leadership or training experience (Chick-fil-A experience required).
  • Someone who is passionate about developing people and creating a culture of excellence.
  • A strong communicator who can effectively engage with team members, leaders, and applicants.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple initiatives, and track training progress.
  • A self-motivated leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and embraces continuous improvement.
  • Ability to evaluate, mentor, and develop trainers while ensuring training compliance.
  • A proactive problem solver who can identify gaps in team performance and implement effective solutions.
  • Someone who is committed to ownership, excellence, and service.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including Fridays and Saturdays.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Continuously improve our hiring process to attract and retain the best talent.
  • Review all employment applications and manage job postings.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and conduct interviews with prospective hires.
  • Hire highly qualified applicants who align with Chick-fil-A's vision, mission, and values.
  • Conduct new hire orientation with a strong emphasis on Chick-fil-A's core values, mission, and culture.
  • Ensure Pathway training compliance and track team member progress in both hands-on and digital training.
  • Monitor and enforce critical employee handbook policies to maintain a high standard of excellence.
  • Oversee new product rollouts, ensuring all team members receive proper training.
  • Evaluate and certify trainers, ensuring training standards are upheld.
  • Help lead an annual training workshop to reinforce best practices and team development.
  • Develop team members intentionally, preparing them for leadership roles.
  • Coach the team daily, building trust and creating a positive learning environment.
  • Lead team engagement efforts to improve retention and job satisfaction.
  • Track and recertify team members as needed to maintain operational excellence.
  • Monitor performance measurement tools to identify and address training gaps.
  • Implement strategies that enhance team performance and guest experience.
  • Ensure the quality of talent acquisition reflects in top 20% CEM scores.
