About The Position

The Talent Specialist is responsible for identifying, attracting, and delivering top talent across all levels of the organization. This role will lead the talent selection process for designated positions within both the corporate office and manufacturing floor, partnering closely with hiring managers to develop and execute effective sourcing strategies for both high-volume and technical hiring needs. This position will also lead and participate in special projects within the Human Resources function, contributing to continuous improvement in recruiting processes and practices. This is a part-time position (2–3 days per week), offering flexibility while playing a critical role in supporting the company’s growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2–4 years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of modern recruiting tools, sourcing techniques, and applicant tracking systems.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and external partners.
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing recruiting strategies that attract high-quality talent.
  • Experience using market and compensation data to help shape competitive, compliant job offers.
  • Ability to coach and advise hiring managers on best practices in sourcing, interviewing, and candidate selection.

Responsibilities

  • Own full cycle recruiting for exempt and non-exempt roles, from sourcing and screening through interview, offer, and hire.
  • Build strong candidate pipelines by proactively sourcing and matching talent to business and job-specific needs.
  • Track and manage recruiting metrics and analytics to ensure alignment with company goals and continuous improvement.
  • Support and optimize the HRMS/ATS system, including testing and implementing system upgrades and enhancements.
  • Write and maintain clear, compelling job descriptions and job postings across the organization.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with high schools, technical schools, universities, and community organizations to drive early and diverse talent pipelines.
  • Manage relationships with staffing agencies and search firms, including negotiating and controlling recruitment fees.
  • Develop, manage, and report on the recruiting budget.
  • Ensure compliance with EEO and affirmative action goals and hiring standards.
  • Train and coach hiring managers on best practices in recruiting, interviewing, and selection.
  • Lead and contribute to special projects in engagement, retention, recruiting events, employee relations, and HR process improvement.
