About the team: The People and Culture team at QuantumScape is a strategic HR function focused on enabling business success through talent and organizational development. We partner closely with leadership across R&D, Engineering, Finance/IT, Legal, and Sales/Marketing to align people strategies with company goals. What we need: A Talent Sourcer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and uses various tools and databases to build talent pipelines for our company's continued growth. You will primarily support R&D and Engineering, as well as other departments at QuantumScape.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of proven talent sourcing experience preferable in technical industries.
  • Familiarity with modern sourcing tools and techniques, including Boolean search, social media, and professional networking sites.
  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other HR databases.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to sourcing.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

  • Source candidates: Identify and attract qualified candidates through various channels, including online databases, job boards, social media platforms (such as LinkedIn), professional networks, and employee referrals.
  • Employ advanced sourcing techniques: Utilize complex search techniques, such as Boolean search and data mining, to uncover passive candidates for hard-to-fill positions.
  • Build talent pipelines: Proactively cultivate and manage a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
  • Engage with candidates: Reach out to potential candidates through personalized communication to generate interest in open positions and the company brand.
  • Conduct initial screening: Perform an initial assessment of candidates to evaluate their skills, qualifications, and potential fit for specific roles.
  • Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers: Partner with the recruitment team and hiring managers to understand specific talent needs, define candidate profiles, and develop effective sourcing strategies.
  • Maintain database records: Use the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to record and track candidate data, ensuring all information is current and accurate.
  • Coordinate scheduling support as needed: Partner with People Operations to assist with scheduling interviews when required, ensuring a smooth and efficient candidate experience.
