Academies of Math and Science Impact Group TA Recruiter Location: Hybrid (Arizona Residents Only); Tempe, AZ Salary Range: $40,000.00-45,000.00/ annually The Academies of Math and Science (AMS) is a network of high-performing, Title I charter schools committed to serving our communities through academic excellence, character development, and equity. With a team of over 700 dedicated staff, we impact the lives of over 10,000 students and their families across Arizona. We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Central Office Talent Team. This role will help support AMS’s mission by identifying, attracting, and onboarding exceptional talent across all AMS campuses and departments. Why AMS? Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2–5 years of full-cycle recruitment experience
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS); Workday experience a plus
  • Knowledge of employment law and best hiring practices
  • Passion for education and commitment to equity and inclusion

Nice To Haves

  • Experience recruiting in education or nonprofit sectors
  • Demonstrated success with social media recruiting and brand engagement

Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle recruiting: job postings, sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide tailored recruiting strategies
  • Develop and execute outreach plans to build diverse candidate pipelines
  • Maintain clear, timely, and supportive communication with candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal hiring regulations
  • Represent AMS at hiring events and networking engagements
  • Contribute to employer branding and talent marketing initiatives
