About The Position

Pacific Health Group is seeking a Talent Engagement Specialist who views hiring as matchmaking, aiming to place the right individuals in roles that transform care for the communities served. This role is crucial for building talent pipelines that directly support the Enhanced Care Management (ECM) program and the field-based care providers. It is not a desk-only position, requiring an approximate 50/50 split between field and desk work. The specialist will collaborate closely with the ECM Program team to understand real-time hiring needs, address workforce gaps, and consider community dynamics to attract candidates who align with both the role and the populations served. Requirements

  • Ability to travel locally for community outreach, hiring events, and partnerships
  • Valid California Driver’s License and reliable transportation (if applicable)
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment
  • 3+ years in recruiting, sourcing, or talent engagement
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple roles and candidates simultaneously
  • Strong technical proficiency required, including experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), candidate pipeline management, and assessment tools
  • Ability to maintain real-time candidate tracking and documentation
  • Proficiency with platforms such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, RingCentral, and Zoom
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and troubleshoot basic technical issues
  • Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of our pre-employment process, which includes a background check and the submission of all required documentation and new hire paperwork

Responsibilities

  • Spend approximately 50% of your time in the field and 50% managing pipelines and coordination
  • Travel across assigned regions to support ECM hiring needs and outreach efforts
  • Partner directly with ECM leadership and field teams to align recruiting strategies with operational needs
  • Build and maintain active candidate pipelines for ECM roles
  • Drive candidate engagement, assessments, and follow-up throughout the hiring process
  • Manage multiple open roles simultaneously with speed, organization, and accuracy
  • Utilize recruiting platforms and tools to track candidate progress in real-time
  • Represent Pacific Health Group at job fairs, hiring events, and community-based outreach initiatives
  • Partner with ECM teams to identify key outreach locations and target populations
  • Build relationships with workforce boards, community organizations, schools, and training programs aligned with ECM services
  • Engage directly with candidates in the field to generate interest and build trust
  • Develop grassroots recruiting strategies within the communities we serve
  • Build and maintain strong pipelines for ECM roles through in-person outreach and digital sourcing
  • Source candidates through job boards, referrals, social platforms, and community networks
  • Develop partnerships with colleges, training programs, and workforce development organizations
  • Introduce candidates to PHG’s assessment-first hiring model
  • Ensure candidates complete required assessments within 48 hours
  • Review resumes alongside assessment results and prepare Value Proposition summaries highlighting key qualifications, assessment performance, role alignment, and overall recommendation
  • Partner with ECM leadership to ensure candidate alignment with field expectations and program needs
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Coordinate interviews and ensure a seamless experience from initial outreach through scheduling
  • Maintain consistent communication, ensuring candidates feel informed and respected
  • Maintain accurate, real-time updates in Workable (ATS) and internal tracking systems
  • Track candidate progress, outreach activity, and pipeline health metrics
  • Ensure all recruiting activities align with compliance and fair hiring practices

  • Salary Range: $72,000.00 – $76,000.00 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and internal equity
