The Talent and Performance team at Zscaler is seeking a motivated and creative Talent Development Intern to join us at our San Jose, CA location as part of our hybrid internship program. Reporting to the Director, Talent Development, this internship offers hands-on experience in training, engagement, and program design. By working closely with leaders in Talent and Performance, you’ll gain valuable insights into how investing in employee growth directly impacts organizational success, building foundational skills in human capital management and setting you up for a rewarding career in HR and talent strategy.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Communication, Business Administration, HR, or Psychology.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Motivated self-starter with a passion for innovation and technology.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with communication and content creation, including proficiency in tools like PowerPoint or Google Slides.
  • Ability to gather, organize, and interpret data (e.g., training feedback scores, completion rates, or basic HR metrics) using Excel or Google Sheets to provide actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Create compelling presentations and use data to tell impactful, actionable stories.
  • Act as a liaison between multiple stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration on training and development initiatives.
  • Drive knowledge management by fostering a culture of knowledge sharing among employees (People) and leveraging technology systems like knowledge bases and intranets to capture, organize, and store essential information.
