About The Position

As the Talent & Culture (HR) Generalist at FormAssembly, you’ll play a hands-on role in delivering a consistent, thoughtful experience for ~130 team members, from onboarding and benefits coordination to offboarding and day-to-day people operations. You’ll be a critical part of a lean and collaborative HR team where each person has real ownership and influence in shaping how we work. We value curiosity, autonomy, and operational excellence. You’ll partner closely with the Head of Talent & Culture and cross-functional teammates to keep programs running smoothly and help scale people operations with care and clarity as the company grows. This position reports to the Head of Talent & Culture and can be based anywhere in the United States.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 1–2 years in a generalist, HR coordinator, or HR operations role
  • 1+ year of experience supporting benefits administration or vendor relationships (Annual Open Enrollment experience a plus)
  • Foundational knowledge of core HR compliance areas (e.g., FLSA, FMLA, EEO-1, I-9, required postings), and interest in staying informed on employment law updates
  • Comfortable working on small teams with broad exposure and a “roll-up-your-sleeves” mentality
  • Organized, curious, and proactive. You enjoy improving processes and solving problems
  • Tech-savvy and eager to learn new systems (we use Paylocity, Lattice, and our own internal platform)
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Able to maintain discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive employee data
